Recently, several leading new tea beverage brands in China have successively launched their autumn new products. A notable trend is that "pure tea +" beverages based on traditional high-quality Chinese teas such as Oolong tea, Pu'er tea, and white tea have become the main focus. Compared to the past, which relied on syrups, small ingredients, and fruits for flavor, the new products emphasize the authentic taste of tea, complemented only by a small amount of fresh milk or natural flowers and fruits for a light pairing.

To address consumers' concerns about the source and safety of pre-packaged meal ingredients, the China Food Industry Association recently announced a pilot "digital label" system among several well-known pre-packaged meal brands. Consumers can simply scan the QR code on the packaging with their mobile phones to trace the entire chain of information about the product, from the origin of the raw materials, processing workshops, quality inspection reports to transportation and storage, and even view chef introductions and recommended cooking tips.

The "Annual Shanghai Flavor" selection event organized by the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism concluded yesterday. After expert evaluation and online voting, the classic local dish, oil-exploded shrimp, and the Haipai snack, fresh meat mooncake, were jointly selected as the "most representative flavors of the city of Shanghai."
